ITINERARY

At 8 a.m. we will meet you at your hotel lobby to begin with the experience. From here, you will head to Cusco’s main Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the famous cathedral. Following this, you will continue on foot through an ancient Inca-built street from the Plaza de Armas to the Q’oricancha, the Temple of the Sun. At the Q’oricancha you will be able to compare and contrast the building methods of the Incan culture and Catholicism. This was the key spiritual center of the Incas, which leads to all four quarters of the Inca Empire. There is also an altarpiece to be seen.

From Q’oricancha, we will walk down to Avenida El Sol, where you will take the van 25 minutes outside of the city. You will be taken to the majestic Inca site, Sacsayhuaman, with its enigmatic construction with more than 150 tons of monoliths in which you will have a guided tour.

From Sacsayhuaman, you will take a five minute bus ride to the Q’enqo, the next Inca site where you will see its fascinating Incan altars. Following, you will take another five minute drive to Puka Pukara, a small, circular Inca site.

The final stop on our tour is Tambomachay, a water temple with impressive water fountains, thought to be used by the Inca for purification purposes. After visiting Tambomachay Inka site we will start our walk of relaxation following this valley of Tambomachay all the way down and flat terrain.

Around 1pm, we will arrive at our spot to have some lunch and a well-deserved rest! After lunch, we will carry on with our activity to see more beautiful places.

There are two options to finish this tour:

1. To finish at the main plaza of Cusco just like our ancestors, the Incas, by the royal Inca Trail.
2. To finish our walk in a quiet neighborhood of Cusco. We will take a local city bus which will cost 2 soles, which will leave us near the Koricancha, which is 5 minutes away from the main square.

• Entrance Tickets: Included on this tour are the 4 Inca sites you visit on the tour. The ticket can be purchased as a (1) Day pass for 70 soles or a (10) day pass for 130 soles. Only soles are accepted and it must be paid in cash. You will be able to purchase this directly at the first site.
