ITINERARY

In morning or afternoon time we will meet you at your hotel lobby to begin the experience. From here, you will head to Cusco’s main Plaza where we will visit the famous cathedral. We will then continue on foot through an ancient Inca built street from the Plaza de Armas to the Q’oricancha, the Temple of the

Sun. At the Q’oricancha you will be able to compare and contrast the building methods of the Incan culture and Catholicism. This was the key spiritual center of the Incas, which leads to all four quarters of the Inca kingdom. There is also an altarpiece to be seen.

From Q’oricancha, we will walk down to Avenida El Sol, where we will take the van for about 25 minutes to the majestic Inca site of Sacsayhuaman. Sacsayhuaman is an enigmatic construction with more than 150 tons of monoliths; this is where you’ll have a guided tour.

Q’engo Inca site is 5 minutes away from Sacsayhuaman, with its fascinating Incan altars and inner carvings. Next one is in 10 minutes away is Puka Pucara, which is a small, circular Inca site. The final stop on our tour is Tambomachay, a place for worshipping the sacred water, thought to be used by the Incas for purification purposes. We will then drive back to your hotel.

• Entrance Tickets: Included on this tour are the 4 Inca sites you visit on the city tour. The ticket can be purchased as a (1) day pass for 70 soles or a (2) day pass for 130 soles. If you would like to spend more time in Cusco, we recommend you buy this ticket as it will give you access to 15 other places. NB: Only soles using cash are accepted. You will be able to purchase this directly at the first site.
